David Pease, MBA

Managing Director

David Pease is Managing Director at Pease Capital Advisors. Prior to founding Pease Capital Advisors, David worked in Corporate Insurance Consulting, with a specialty of mitigating risk during a transaction.

David's role as Managing Director includes directing day-to-day operations and leading client relationships. He also plays a pivotal role in evaluating client opportunities, term sheet preparation, and negotiations. David also serves as the COO for Pease Bell CPAs.

David attended Kent State University where he graduated with a B.B.A. in Business and Finance, and Baldwin Wallace University where he received his M.B.A.

Senior Advisor

Brent Grover joined Pease Capital Advisors as a Senior Advisor in August of 2018, bringing over forty-five years of experience within the accounting, distribution, and M&A industries.

From 2001–2018 Brent was Founder and President of Evergreen Consulting, a boutique advisory firm serving the wholesale distribution channel. Before Evergreen, he was CEO and co-owner of National Paper & Packaging Co. (sold in 1999). He is a Research Fellow of the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence, which has published 8 of his books, and has served as an Adjunct Professor at Case Weatherhead School of Management. Earlier in his career he worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. and received the Elijah Watt Sells Award for placing second in Ohio on the Uniform CPA Examination.

Brent received his B.A. in Economics at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Management from Case Western Reserve University – Weatherhead School of Management.

Zach Filips

Zach Filips

Vice President

Zach joined the firm in December of 2021 and works with privately held companies to source strategic acquisitions — conducting industry research, identifying targets, running outreach, facilitating meetings, and helping clients negotiate to close. He has worked with clients across a wide range of industries on the buy-side.

Before joining the firm, Zach was an executive recruiter placing mid-management to C-suite professionals for private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He is a 2020 graduate of Kenyon College with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Psychology.

Zach lives in Cleveland, Ohio and enjoys golfing, skiing, watching the Cleveland Browns, and playing sand volleyball.
